Privacy Policy

Tenra ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal finance tracking application. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Tenra handles your information.

1. Data Storage

All your financial data — including accounts, transactions, budgets, categories, deposits, and recurring payments — is stored locally on your device using Apple's CoreData framework. We do not operate servers that store your personal or financial data.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• We do not collect financial data (bank account numbers, card details)
• We do not use analytics or tracking services
• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• We do not track your location
• We do not share any data with third parties

3. Device Permissions

Tenra may request the following device permissions:

• Microphone & Speech Recognition: Used exclusively for voice-to-text transaction input. Audio is processed on-device using Apple's Speech framework and is never transmitted to external servers.
• Document Picker: Used to import bank statement files (CSV, PDF) that you explicitly select. Files are processed locally on your device.
• Notifications: Used to send local reminders about upcoming subscription payments. No data is sent to remote servers.

4. Network Requests

Tenra makes limited network requests solely to display company and bank logos:

• Logo retrieval: The app may fetch logo images from Supabase storage, logo.dev API, and Google Favicon service. Only the company/service name is used in these requests — no personal or financial data is transmitted.

These requests do not contain any personal information or financial data.

5. Data Security

Your data is protected by iOS built-in security features including device encryption, app sandboxing, and biometric/passcode device lock. Since data never leaves your device, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time through the app's Settings. Uninstalling the app will also permanently remove all stored data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Tenra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and in app updates.
