Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using Tenra ("the app").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Tenra, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Tenra is a personal finance management tool designed to help you track accounts, transactions, budgets, deposits, loans, recurring payments, savings goals and personal debts. The app stores your data on your device. Ten, the app's optional AI assistant, is covered in section 4.

3. Not Financial Advice

Tenra is a personal budgeting and tracking tool only. The app does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any insights, analytics, forecasts, or answers from Ten generated by the app are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions. Consult a qualified financial advisor for professional guidance.

4. Ten, the AI Assistant

• Ten is optional. It answers from the cloud only after you agree to it, and you can turn this off at any time in Settings › Assistant.
• Ten's answers are written by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) from the data on your device. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check amounts and dates against your own records before you rely on them.
• Ten does not change your data by itself. Transactions, budgets and regular payments it prepares are saved only when you confirm them, and you can undo them afterwards. You are responsible for what you save.
• Your question and the data Ten needs to answer it are sent through Tenra's server to Anthropic, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• The number of answers per month is limited, with a higher limit for Tenra Pro. We may change these limits, or limit or suspend Ten, for example to prevent abuse or when the service is unavailable.
• You must not misuse Ten, for example by sending automated requests, trying to get around its limits, or using it for any illegal purpose.

5. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the app
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data
• You must not use the app for any illegal purpose

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Your financial data is stored on your device and we cannot read it. When you use Ten, your question and the data it needs to answer it leave your device as the Privacy Policy describes; Tenra's server keeps no questions and no answers.

7. Intellectual Property

Tenra and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data or financial losses arising from use of the app.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling permanently deletes the data stored on your device; backups you saved to your iCloud Drive stay there until you delete them.
